Spotify really wants you to subscribe, triples its free Premium trial period

Posted August 22, 2019 | Mobile | News

Great news for audiophiles who are looking for the right music streaming service, as Spotify announced its Premium trial period will now last much longer than just 30 days. Spotify already has quite a lot of subscribers in the United States, but to make it harder for the competition to catch up, the company announced that beginning August 22, eligible users will receive the first three months for free.If you sign up for any Spotify Premium plan on or after August 22, you will receive 90 days of free service rather than just 30 days. The offer is only open to users who haven’t yet tried Spotify’s Premium service. Also, it’s not available on Headspace, non-recurring products, and most carrier billing.

After the three months of free Spotify Premium, you’ll have to pay $9.99 per month if you want to continue the music streaming service. According to Spotify, the offer is available worldwide and it’s permanent.

It’s also worth mentioning that the 90-day free trial period will roll out today for individual and student plans for users who haven’t tried Spotify Premium yet, while Duo and Family plans will get the same offer in the coming months.
